All-star business. I am an owner and landlord who lives out of the Anchorage area. I reached out to Reds late in a very wet season for a roof repair with the possibility of a new roof. They took the job and did the repair work quickly and with integrity while also generously assessing the remainder of the roof's life. Therefore, I knew they truthfully accessed the roof's life and were not simply trying to get more work. Red's has been great to work with over the last winter! We needed our roof repaired with a full reroof, but needed to deal with other things when winter hit. They helped us out with venting our roof to deal with the ice dams in November, which made a huge difference. Then they got us on the schedule in march to repair the roof with the best estimate and highest quality materials. Ben and Karley were quick to communicate with us and always responded when we had questions. Really appreciate their understanding and patience with us this year. You won't be disappointed with their services.

Reds Roofing did an amazing job replacing the flat roof on a part of our home that had a leak and was causing damage inside. They replaced the entirety of the flat roof and replaced a portion of the plywood roofing that was rotted. They were very responsive as we waited to get this scheduled. The owner himself manages the projects very closely and is great at giving updates. The crew was professional, clean, quick, and well trained. We couldn’t be happier with the result and hope for it to last many many years. Thank you for making this a great experience and for being a trust worthy vendor. Red's was well reviewed, and their bid came in about $2K less than the other company we were considering, so we signed them up. I'm so glad we did. When this spring ended up almost snowless, they offered to get our job started TWO MONTHS earlier than what they committed to last fall. They communicated very well throughout the work, were done in less time than expected, and suggested a fairly inexpensive resolve to our decades-long ice dam issue! Everyone we interacted with, from Ben and Sheldon to the guys on the roofing crew were pleasant and accommodating, and our roof looks great. Oh, and their clean-up was thorough, too. Absolutely, highly, recommend these guys.

Reds Roofing truly impressed us. It is rare these days to do business with someone and not run into either rudeness or incompetence. We had struggled with getting our insurance company to agree to cover a full house and shed roof replacement after the wind storm last winter. Our roof was missing shingles in giant chunks all over one side and quite a few shingles randomly on the other, so the insurance was trying to get away with only covering a few areas. The problem was that there were no matching shingles on the market in Alaska, and ordering to ship would cost more than the roof itself! I called three different roofing companies. Two of them said they weren’t interested in partial projects, and the third one reluctantly agreed to do it, but I would need to be the middle man between USAA and them to approve each nail, tarp, and shingle. The same day, I nearly gave in, I got a knock on the door, and it was Blake from Reds Roofing: “I noticed your roof is in a poor state. Would you like us to fix it?” I told him about my 6-month-long battle with USAA, to which he responded: “Leave it to me. I will have them cover a full replacement by the end of the week.” Sure enough, suddenly, USAA became very cooperative. Y'all, I don’t know what sorcery he used, but it worked! I have a new roof now! It was soul-draining to be in a back-and-forth battle with USAA over each dollar. For months. Blake was our knight in shining armor! Reds Roofing is lucky to have him represent them. Doing business with Reds roofing and having Blake just take the emotional load off of our shoulders made our year. Sheldon (the owner?) made sure to take care of us before the rains started. Their crew (all rough-tough-looking men) was very professional, quick, and kind. We very much recommend Reds Roofing. Last summer, my wife and I received four estimates from different roofing companies before ultimately choosing Reds Roofing & Renovations—and we are very glad we did. Sheldon provided a bid that felt fair and reasonable, which gave us confidence moving forward.
The crew was professional, courteous, and consistently friendly throughout the entire process. Their energy and attention to detail really stood out.
We had an ongoing issue with ice buildup on our roof that would lead to leaks in our kitchen each winter. Sheldon took the time to understand the problem and developed a plan to address it. For the first time in years, we didn’t have to shovel the roof, and the ice buildup and leaks were completely resolved.

We lost a lot of shingles during the big windstorm January 2025. Red's Roofing was extremely helpful during the whole process. They were quick to do an inspection and let us know that the type of shingles on our roof weren't being made anymore and we should try going through insurance. It was a long process...about 4 months. Red's Roofing was great about providing all the documentation the insurance company requested. The long delay was on the insurance side. As soon as it was approved we were put on the schedule and the roof replacement was done quickly. The whole crew was fast and professional. I would recommend them...and have...for any roofing needs.

I am very happy to write this review. Our roof was badly damaged by a severe windstrom in January 2025. I had to haggle with three adjusters before getting the price needed to repair the roof. Blake was so patient and helped me explain to the lower 48 adjuster the difference in construction matierial costs here in Anchorage. It was such a long process but the roof has been done for a few weeks now and I am so glad I found Reds Roofing. I am so thankful to Blake and the roofing team, who did an amazing job as you can see from the photos. This is a legit and professional company that can handle an insurance claim process and do a quality roof repair and replacement.

Fantastic customer service! With our record snowfall this year, our furnace intake vent appeared to be blocked causing our furnace to be inoperable during a stretch of sub-zero temps. I called Red’s and actually spoke to a friendly human, not a voicemail like so many others I had called. After explaining our situation, they said they would try to get to us that same day after finishing a similar job elsewhere. Just as promised, they arrived later that evening. The crew were friendly and professional after what had be an extremely long and frigidly cold work day. They looked at our furnace as well as looking on Google Maps to see where our vents were placed on the roof. It was determined that snow was not the problem. They offered to go ahead and clear the vents we have, but it would not help our furnace issue. They even called us back a bit later that evening with some other suggestions to get our furnace issue resolved. While we didn’t have them get on our roof to remove any snow, I would definitely call them again for any future needs! It was refreshing to have such great snd honest service.

Reds Roofing gave outstanding service from the first contact requesting an estimate for a new roof, to putting us on their schedule in a timely manner that fit around our travel plans. We appreciated the good communication so we knew what to expect through the whole process. The crew worked well as a team. We were amazed that the old roof was removed and the new waterproof underlayer installed in one day. It rained that night, and all was fine on the roof. The next morning it was still raining, and the crew showed up and finished the whole project in the constant rain!
