Professional Metal Roof Installation for Eagle River, AK Homes and Businesses
Alaska roofs face conditions that roofs in most parts of the country simply do not experience. High winds, heavy snow, ice dams, freeze-and-thaw cycles, driving rain, and extended winter conditions can expose weak points in roofing systems quickly. Reds Roofing understands these challenges and provides Metal Roof Installation in Eagle River, AK with Alaska’s climate in mind.
Our experienced team works with residential and commercial roofing systems and understands the importance of proper installation, flashing, waterproofing, ventilation, underlayment, drainage, and structural integrity. When roofing problems are discovered, we focus on identifying the actual cause and recommending an appropriate solution rather than simply covering up the symptoms.
This company is friendly, efficient, and accurate. They were clear and honest in communication and cleaned up the snow after removing it from the roof. They even ended up charging us more than $200 LESS than their bid. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

We hired Red's to come in and do the drywall for our ceiling after our roof was repaired. he got it completed within a couple of days. Did not leave any mess behind. They are very friendly and easy to work with and appreciate him being able to get to us so quickly! The roof repair took a long time.. so getting these last parts done so quickly has been a blessing! Thank you!

Not a client but a fellow roofer. Saw a crew run out of ice and water shield and finish the run with synthetic. Got worried because a lot of companies would look the other way and leave it. Returned the next day to see they properly replaced the whole section with a full sheet of ice shield. They cared enough to protect the home until they could return with enough material and didn’t just call it good and shingle over it. They clearly do things the right way.

Reds Roofing truly impressed us. It is rare these days to do business with someone and not run into either rudeness or incompetence. We had struggled with getting our insurance company to agree to cover a full house and shed roof replacement after the wind storm last winter. Our roof was missing shingles in giant chunks all over one side and quite a few shingles randomly on the other, so the insurance was trying to get away with only covering a few areas. The problem was that there were no matching shingles on the market in Alaska, and ordering to ship would cost more than the roof itself! I called three different roofing companies. Two of them said they weren’t interested in partial projects, and the third one reluctantly agreed to do it, but I would need to be the middle man between USAA and them to approve each nail, tarp, and shingle. The same day, I nearly gave in, I got a knock on the door, and it was Blake from Reds Roofing: “I noticed your roof is in a poor state. Would you like us to fix it?” I told him about my 6-month-long battle with USAA, to which he responded: “Leave it to me. I will have them cover a full replacement by the end of the week.” Sure enough, suddenly, USAA became very cooperative. Y'all, I don’t know what sorcery he used, but it worked! I have a new roof now! It was soul-draining to be in a back-and-forth battle with USAA over each dollar. For months. Blake was our knight in shining armor! Reds Roofing is lucky to have him represent them. Doing business with Reds roofing and having Blake just take the emotional load off of our shoulders made our year. Sheldon (the owner?) made sure to take care of us before the rains started. Their crew (all rough-tough-looking men) was very professional, quick, and kind. We very much recommend Reds Roofing. Thanks to them (and Blake!), we are not going into this winter with our attic exposed to the elements. God bless you, guys!

Reds was GREAT, and I would highly recommend them. They gave clear quotes and timelines, which they met. In fact, the final price came in a little lower than the quote. They were very efficient and responsive to all my questions, and at the end of each day they cleaned up so the work area looked nice. Everyone on their crew was very pleasant, and Reds staffed the job with plenty of people so the project got done on time. Greg M.

The Reds team suggested an excellent remediation. My 50 year old roof needed new sheathing. They knocked out the work in 2 days with thicker 5/8" plywood, membrane, ridge vents, shingles, flashing & new furnace/chimney outlets. Hire these guys. You will be happy with the results.

??????????Last summer, my wife and I received four estimates from different roofing companies before ultimately choosing Reds Roofing & Renovationsand we are very glad we did. ******* provided a bid that felt fair and reasonable, which gave us confidence moving forward. The crew was professional, courteous, and consistently friendly throughout the entire process. Their energy and attention to detail really stood out.We had an ongoing issue with ice buildup on our roof that would lead to leaks in our kitchen each winter. ******* took the time to understand the problem and developed a plan to address it. For the first time in years, we didnt have to shovel the roof, and the ice buildup and leaks were completely resolved.Overall, we had an excellent experience and would confidently recommend Reds Roofing & Renovations to others.

Ben came by on a Sunday evening due to water coming in from the garage roof. He came by referral and quickly responded. He gave us a thorough inspection of the effected area, but also confirmed what we suspected and that was we did not need a complete new roof as told by another contractor. He saved us $$$$! He brought my son up on the roof and told him how to keep it clean and clear of moss. He laid down visqueen until we can get on the schedule for repair. Honest and dependable.

Very happy with the job they did re-shingling my roof. Good communication before, during and after the job was complete. I had become extremely frustrated for months prior trying to even get a call back and/or an estimate from some the larger, more well know companies in ********* before deciding to call Reds Roofing ****************** and was so glad I did. Highly recommend them. ****** W
